Today we share the story of Grace Mutasa, a mother of three from Chitungwiza who has become a powerful voice in our movement.

"I wake up at 4 AM every day to join the queue at the borehole," Grace tells us. "By the time I get home with water, it's already 8 AM. My children are getting ready for school, and I haven't even started preparing breakfast."

Grace's story is not unique. Across our community, women are making impossible choices between caring for their families and accessing basic necessities. But Grace refuses to accept this reality.

"When Women4Water started organizing in our area, I knew I had to be part of it. We cannot continue to suffer in silence while our leaders ignore our struggles."

Grace now serves as a community coordinator, helping to organize peaceful demonstrations and community meetings. Her courage inspires us all.

This is why we fight—not just for water, but for dignity, equality, and justice for all women in our community.
